Let me bust a common myth: You WILL NOT get big lifting weights.
So often, clients are concerned about "bulking" when it comes to strength training. Oftentimes, the goal is to loose weight and traditionally that means eating very little and doing a lot of cardio. Let's settle that now. You CAN lift weight and loose weight. You CAN do less cardio and still see results. It's about balance, consistency, and pairing movement with the right foods.
Muscle looks completely different under our skin compared to fat. It's simply a matter of science. We need more muscle than fat for a variety of reasons. It looks better. It feels better. It helps our body burn more calories. But where do you start?
As a National Academy of Sports Medicince Certified Nutrition Coach & Personal Trainer, my fitness philosophy is to help you develop a plan that will ensure you are building a strong foundation while meeting your goals!
Combining bodyweight movements with core stability is my sweet spot. I'll identify muscle imbalances as well as exercises to correct them. I enjoy watching clients grow in strength and mobility through consistently challenging the core muscles.
