Michelle is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach with a passion for disease prevention.
"Loosing my Dad to Alzheimer's was one of the hardest things I have faced. I became burdened to fight for my health so I can be part of my grandchildren's life," she shared. Michelle put her passions to work. A long-time "gym go-er," she began researching whole food programs. Within 8 months of living the FASTer Way lifestyle, her cholesterol had dropped 30 points, she lost over 11 inches and 35 pounds. She was living proof that food CAN change the trajectory of your health story.
Michelle has led many clients through a six week lifestyle training which promotes whole food nutrition paired with strategic exercise. "Not everyone begins at the same fitness level and I quickly realized that I wanted to provide both fitness and nutrition guidance to my clients," she explained. Michelle, a former homeschool mom of two, got to work preparing for her certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Upon completion, she began training at her local YMCA. She specializes in Strength and Conditioning, Improving Mobility and Muscle Imbalances as well as Group Fitness. "One size does not fit all. That's why I love providing custom workouts and nutrition consulting to help clients meet their needs," she shared. Michelle customizes workout plans for in-person as well as virtual clients.
We are stronger together.
You'll often hear me say this because I truly believe it. Not everyone is driven internally for fitness, but when we encourage and spur one another on, the sky is the limit! Regular movement is key to success. Don't be a slave to the calorie counter or the notion that you need hours in the gym to meet your goals. Strategic movement paired with the right foods is key.
Abs are made in the kitchen.
It's true. You can't cardio your way to great abs, but you can get a headstart in the kitchen! I'm into simple meals. Ones you can make in 20 minutes or less because let's face it, life is full. Whole foods are king when it comes to a sustaining your healthy lifestyle.
